- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Horrible hospital. My girlfriend was recently staying at the L.A. Metro hospital, Hawthorne campus, and was constantly badgered and mistreated by the staff. One incident was a night staff had sex with her. He was, of course, fired, but the other staff member constantly badgered her about it until she hurt herself. Do you call that a safe environment for a psychiatric patient? Do you call that fair and objective treatment? Her stay was extended 4 times, so she was there a month, because the staff wouldn't leave her alone. My complaints went unnoticed, and the "Doctor" never talked to me about her condition (Borderline Personality disorder). Problem here is that ALL of the power lies in that one Doctor, so her chances of being released when she's ready is slim. The Doctor is supposed to contact close family in order to see if he thinks that WE are ready for her to come home. Nope. THAT decision is all his. Too much power in ONE person's hand. Unfair, biased treatment with no regard for the patient or family. Other patients that I interviewed has the same problems. HORRIBLE hospital. If you are looking to check yourself in, choose a different hospital. Unless you like staff poking fun at you non-stop and dealing with other patients physically assaulting you daily.May 22, 2017by A Google User
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I heard very scary stories about this Psych hospital in Hawthorne. I have lots of Nurse friends work here. Can you imagine, they fire Nurse for helping a patient to call Patient Rights Office? My friend was fired by the Administrator/Social Worker who is fully fraud. Another friend of mine was fired for refusing to make Fraud and false documentation to cover up patient abuse. Owner of this hospital is supporting all these fraud and scam by Administrator. Owner doesn't care about health care fraud, patient abuse, and firing of employees by this lady. FBI should visit and talk to all the nurses and employees fired and terminated by this Administrator. I will give minus 5 star rating to this scam, but google doesn't have minus rating. My rating is "MINUS FIVE"March 27, 2017by A Google User
